...to ask your teacher if she was preggo? ARGH!!!! I mean, seriously, I have had about 10 kids ask me this week. I asked one girl what she would have done if I had said no, and she was like, "Oh, I would've said you looked fat or round..." and I'm like UH, DUH, that is rude!!!!

Wow, rude much?
If it makes you feel any better when I was 6 weeks pregnant with Lochy my cousin asked me if I was pregnant. It was at his wedding and his new wife punched his arm saying you never say that to someone. His response was "Well, I just saw you a few months ago and you didn't have a belly but now you do."
Some people just don't know when to keep quiet.

I have been asked quite a few times if I was preggo BY ADULTS when I wasn't...and I'm not that big of a person, but I guess I have always retained my baby belly ever since having #1.

I think people aren't respectful today. Especially kids.
I was asked if I was pregnant all the time. But I'm larger and all my weight is in my tummy. When I signed Seamus back up for WIC in July or August(can't remember) the lady said are you pregnant too? She was very embarrassed when I said no(didn't know at the time and/or wasn't yet)

Geez, what rude children! However, you gotta think that maybe kids know more than we give them credit for! Still, they should not say anything, and that should be taught by their parents. Seriously.

The children these days are very "bold". Sometimes I can't believe the things they say, ask or do.

Don't forget that my kiddos are not little babies...these are 7th graders, so 11-13 yos. You'd think they'd have a little bit of sense...I would have expected a couple of them asking but not that many. But then again, some of my kids are rude regardless, so I don't really know why I'm so surprised!

I have a personal rule of not asking that question unless I see a baby crowning.

I think kids/teens do not understand the sensitive nature of pregnancy. I have had teens ask me personal questions purely out of curiosity, and I usually just tell them it's not their business. Or I ask why they want to know that about me, which tends to get them off the topic lol. At that age they should, however, know better than to comment on someone gaining weight for ANY reason!!

Me too...unless someone actually tells me they are pregnant, I do not assume. I know all too well how insulting it is if you aren't...and there is no graceful way outta that one!
