So Fi has kicked me in the butt with all her pictures and preparedness! So I've been looking at bedding and thinking about what I want to do for each child.

Curtis' room is coming along nicely. I'm going with a Cars theme, from the movie Cars. All I need to get is a border and some decals for his room, and perhaps a nice red curtain or something but that is not that important. He's got his bed, table and stools, a dark blue dresser, and a wall clock that all look great. I need to get out the extra furniture that is in there, a deep freezer (haha soooo random) and a rocking chair. So his room is going very well

Now for baby I'm at a toss up! Curtis has a jungle theme and kept it until he got his Curious George theme earlier this year. I would really like to get something gender specific. I really love these two options:

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=9875000
for a girl

and

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=9874999
for a boy

I would also get the wall decals

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?...uct_id=10166835
in the right colors

and put those in a border fashion across the wall the baby's crib will be against (baby will be in our room).

We have a light colored crib but I think it will still look nice. Our bed set is brown and blue as well so I think both will look nice.

The only problem I have is to actually get prepared for baby.... I might have to buy both sets... that's what my MIL suggested, and offered to pay for them. Then we would return the one that we don't need. Anyone know if Walmart online is good for returning things? I don't do online shopping haha.

Orrrrr does anyone know of a really gorgeous non expensive gender neutral set? I haven't found any I'm in love with so far.

This was pretty much me just blabbering ... haha.

Thanks so much for sharing your personal experience! I wouldn't want to screw MIL over at all We are in driving distance to a Walmart in the States so it's possible to take it back to that store, but I'm not to sure if that's an option?

Ya, I have SO much going on in the months right before little one comes so I'm not to sure when we'll start getting things ready. I'm thinking early Jan or even mid Dec? Of course with people shopping for Christmas around Dec, and doing returns afterwards maybe we should order bedding sooner? See I have lots to think about haha.

Sometimes when you return stuff online you have to pay the return shipping charges. I would try looking around the website to see what their return policy is. If you don't mind having to pay the shipping, then I'd say do it.

I love the bedding, btw!

I can't see the bedding at the point because the site is telling me that it's down for maintenance.
