CAUSE THEY FLIPPIN HIT MY FLIPPIN CAR!!

So after taking Joe to take his car to the mechanic.... we went to 7-11 so he could get money out of the ATM. So i get ready to back up, and see theres this car backing up. So i stop after moving all of 6 inches.....So whats this old guy do? Backs up until he HITS MY CAR!!!! (mind you he was parked in a handicap spot when he didnt have a handicap registration!!!!!)

Heres the kicker...

HE PROCEEDS TO DRIVE OFF!!!!

So Joe gets outta the car, i get outta the car and we have to chase this 83 year old geezer down!!! To which we tell him he hit my car and he says:

"What? I didn't hit anything..."

You tell me.. does this look like he didnt hit anything?

So some really nice (and cute...omg cute... really friggin cute) suffolk county officer comes by cause i called 911 (cause this dude was OLD and i wasn't taking any chances...) and was like "yeah this guy shouldnt be driving" but unfortunatly, nothing can be done about it cause he doesnt have a recent accident history..... Well I wonder how many #%*$ hit and runs this ahole has!!!!

Heres the kicker. He tells the officer "I thought maybe i hit something but i didnt know..."

DUH YOU AHOLE NEED TO STOP IF YOU THINK YOU HIT SOMETHING!! AGAIN!! COULDA BEEN A KID!!!

So now my rear bumper is displaced too. Not sure if i want it fixed or if i am gonna take the money and not fix it like i did last time.

So heres my damage....

OLD PEOPLE SHOULD NOT DRIVE!! My grandfathers 83.. same age as the moron who hit me.... HE DOESNT DRIVE!!!!!

That sux!! And I agree about the old people. An old person hit a 30 y/o woman who was crossing on a CROSSWALK last month in Rochester. He didn't "see" her!

I agree that once you're past a certain age you shouldn't be driving. Doesn't insurance companies do something about these things?

My grandad stopped driving after a certain age (he wasn't even as old as 83) and hired a driver.

Tsk, shame on oldies! I was rammed from behind whilst stopped at a roundabout (by an old guy), on 2001. I'd only just bought my new... yes brand new... car. You wouldn't think it would do too much damage, but I had to get the entire boot lid removed, as it was completely out of place, I couldn't drive the car as the side panel was resting on the wheel, had to get an entire new rear bumper and driver's side rear wing.

I hope if he hit your guys hard, you got checked over!

Oh wow!! Ya the guy that hit James a while ago (which everything got settled and there was NO marks on his license or insurance or anything, thank goodness, cause they guy claimed fault DUH) was old too, over 80.

A police officer that is a friend of James' boss heard the story and said that if cops would have been called his license would have been taken away on the spot.

There should be an age limit... not AFTER an accident record!

My great grandma drove till 102 (ish) lol. She only drove in town though ( maybe 500 people )
Oh random fact: Did you know your statistical more likely to hit a deer then a car in South Dakota LOL.
She died a couple years later, but she took herself off the road at 102.

But I have been hit by more under 18 then over 75. There should be more limits on driving.

Old people and young people lol!

My friend from work has gotten rear ended twice in her brand new 2008 Camry, and the last time it was by a 15 year old who was going to TACO BELL. No license, and her mom actually knew that she was doing this and didn't care! Her insurance wouldn't cover it because she doesn't have a license and a parent wasn't with her, so my friend's insurance is paying for the damage and then suing them. 6K worth of damage too!

Geeze. I totally agree with you. Dh was basically T-Boned in October 2006 by an old lady in a Crown Vic. It was on a one way, dh was in the left hand lane and she was in the right, the idoit decided to make a left turn from the right lane, right into dh.

We didn't use the money for fixing it either cause we had to use it to pay off the loan still on it cause they considered the car a total loss because there was body damage and it would cost between $1700-2000 to fix and the car was only worth a little more then that.

I hope that old man that hits you starts to pay more attention to when he thinks he hits something.
