I ran errands today and while I was out picked up a few baby things...

These books that have different things in them that you can touch and feel. Every baby I've known has LOVED these, getting to feel the different textures.



At Babies R Us I got some little 3/6 month shorts for when baby is enduring Texas heat.



And a little hippie tye dye shirt!!! Yeah! It was only $0.80. I can see baby sporting this shirt and a cute cloth diaper butt.



And finally at Party City I found one of the main things I was looking for... After I have my next appointment, I'm going to tell everyone at work. A few people know but I work with close to 50 people if you count all the overlapping shifts. So I'm planning on baking cookies (we all love food) and decorating them with these:





They say things like "new mom", "peek a boo", "sweet dreams". So adorable! So I plan to bring in the cookies to all the labs and tell everyone I brought cookies to celebrate. Then hand them out and see if they guess before the inevitable question "to celebrate what?" I can't wait! I've still got 3 weeks to keep the cat in the bag.
