On other board I lurk, post on, someone must have taken an hpt at around 18-20dpo, and got the result you did, and said, "is something wrong??? why is the test line so light??? does that mean the test is defective???" some posters chimed in with, no, it means you're really pregnant......I'm sure wanting to add in, DUH! I would love to that naive, LOL!

For sure, you can blame baby for everything. Dh was mad at me for not telling him that my mom was coming next week (he knew she was coming but I forgot to tell him exactly WHEN and what week and did not ask him...) and after we made up he was like, "Oh is it because baby ate your brain?" WHY YES! YES IT IS!

Also...there is an old wives tale that if you do not get to eat your pregnancy cravings, your baby will have a birthmark shaped like whatever your craving was. Use that to your advantage too. I may or may not have asked Dh if he really wanted our child to have a kolache shaped birthmark.

P.S. I looooove that dark line!

I should put a disclaimer: even though I got my BFP really early, it took 3 minutes or more to show up at first (always under 10 minutes though--but it gets darker as time elapses). So no one should expect this testing at 12 dpo IF it does, you are in trouble!! LOL

It was the stress from peeing really fast, wiping really fast, and then getting my camera as quickly as possible so that I could to capture the event LOL. My life is so exciting.
