First of all, I want to say how extremely touched I am by all of the support, wishes and prayers that you have all sent my way. Thank you all for taking the time to do that. I am truly lucky to have this group of ladies by my side.
My hCG results came back. It only went from 4061 to 5321 in 2 days. Even though it did increase, it didn't even increase by 50% much less double, and the nurse practitioner was not hopeful. She mentioned that this is a sign that the pregnancy is probably not developing as it should. I had to go back in again for another blood draw today. Did I mention how sick I am of being stuck with needles? I will have a third set of results tomorrow.
When I got home from work today, I saw some light brown spotting on my underwear. This is the sign that I take the most strongly as a bad sign. Wednesday's ultrasound will go ahead as planned unless I begin to see red blood, or possibly if today's hCG is actually down. Then I will probably just wait out the miscarriage.
I cried a lot today, and at the moment I feel cried-out, although I'm sure tomorrow I will have fresh tears. Eric is a mess. I feel worse for how he feels than myself.

 Oh Kyle, I don't even know what to say. I wish I could see you in person and cry with you. This is terrible, but I know you and Eric will get through this (and of course I am hoping for a miracle still). I am here if you need anything
