After Friday, I decided to try to take it a little easier. I thought I was doing well, but I noticed I was still exhausted & having pain & tightness. So I started spotting again at work, and I literally said, "You've got to be kidding me!" when I saw it. My dr.'s offices were of course closed, and since it was brown & not red and just spotting, I didn't feel too panicked. However, I am terrified that one day my dr. will put me on some sort of bedrest for real, so I am going to try to take it even easier. I have already told DH this, and he is in agreement. I was going to talk to my principal about some stuff today, but she wasn't in...I hope she isn't too disappointed in me for not keeping more on top of my department head responsibilities, but if I have to tell her about all the physical problems, I will. (Last time when I had to go to ER, I asked permission to go from one of the VPs because she wasn't in her office.)

Well, I went to bed early last night! Of course Abby got up at 10-something, and I have no idea why she's been having such a hard time sleeping the past couple of nights--it seems like my baby is having nightmares! At least I slept better than the previous night 'cause I have to deal w/ the little hooligans today. So, I think I'm getting better about this.

Good job, Dr. Lauren. You take it easy. I'm guessing the bleeding is just "one of those things" since baby seems fine every time you go in, but it still doesn't hurt to take extra precautions.

Being on bed rest right now is the best thing you can do for you and your family....take care of yourself during this pregnancy, and then you will have plenty of time to run around after the baby is born

I'm trying...I can't say it's really working but I have decided I will not freak out about this. The spotting will eventually stop, and I'm going to be seeing my OB next Friday, anyhow. I do have my big u/s and amnio. in a week, so I'm sure the dr. there would be able to at least agree w/ me that baby must be okay. If my OB doesn't put me on restriction, I'm not going to worry about it. I'm actually starting to get used to work again, and I'm getting used to a busier schedule. I think my body has just been a little in shock by the extra activity lately.

Actually, I'm not resting that much any more ! I am starting to get my 2nd tri. energy surge, and I was actually excited to get 2 tasks done around the house last night and have time to read before bed. I figure if I feel better I am going to take advantage of it. The spotting isn't going away, and it's not like I'm moving furniture or anything like that, so I think it's just a lovely symptom for me this pregnancy. I'm trying not to be on JM too much 'cause it does get time-consuming, but it's hard to stay offline when it's peak u/s season in my DDC !
