It's over. I got the results of yesterdays blood test and my levels have started dropping. They have no idea why this happened, my progesterone is still good, just the HCG levels are going down drstically. I chose not to have a D&C at this point since I am already spotting and cramping pretty badly. I go back for repeated blood draws every 48 hrs until my levels zero out.
At this point, I just feel like giving up. I am taking this hard and its hurting not being able to have DH here more than anything. In some ways I am glad for this deployment because it means we have time to do testing and try to stabilize my hormones more in hopes of a healthy pregnancy later.
I'm going to throw myself back into life and try to keep busy. I can't let myself think too much about this loss or I won't make it through this deployment. I am not coping well right now and feel like throwing myself a vodka filled pity party and drinking a couple bottles of it myself, but I won't.
Thank you for all of your support.

Oh, Jen, I am so sorry to hear this news. It really must be that much harder without DH's support. Drinking won't help, but don't stop yourself from comfort food. I know you may take a JM break, but know we're all here for you, even if it's just to cry out frustration. Praying for this experience to pass quickly.
