I have a Medela pump in style which I have always used electricity for. It has batteries...does anyone know how long they last? I'm asking because the state is undergoing severe budget cuts and we have been asked to take all our personal appliances home from work. I don't want to get in trouble for sucking up electricity w/ my pump, LOL. Just curious, anyhow.

Call any WIC clinic, they should be able to tell you. Ive always just plugged it in. But seriously, I would think a toaster oven would take more electric then a breast pump?

Trust me, I am sooo not going to even try using the school's electricity. I sure don't want to get suspended/docked/fired for something that stupid. I can afford the batteries, no problem...I'm merely curious, but I guess I will find out next July when I actually have to start pumping off my battery.
