I am so excited to meet our little girl finally, but scared out of my mind, too! My OB said it was best to do it tomorrow because Hallie's been in position for so long and there is just nothing to gain by her staying there any longer. Also because I've had every sign of impending labor except for contractions, so she thinks my body just needs a little kick start and then it should get going. I've heard so many stories about inductions so I am really nervous, but hopefully since I've already made some progress on my own (2 cm and close to 100% effaced) it will go okay.
Say a prayer for us if you think of it! Thanks ladies!

Praying it goes well hun! I had an induction at 40 weeks 5 days and it went AMAZING. I was 2 centimeters and 80% effaced when I went in and all I needed was a little gel inserted close to my cervix and I started dilating, no pitocin, and 8 hours later she was born. Not all inductions are bad and I'm sure yours will go well too

Yeah for birthday tomorrow!!! I have another good induced labor story to add to Lisa's. I was 2 cm also and almost 100% when my doctor decided to induce me at 37 weeks (found out when DS was born it was more like 36 weeks - my due date was always a bit uncertain). I did have pitocin and had my water broke but I had an epidural right away and didn't feel anything all morning as I moved to 10 cm pretty quickly. By 4:44 after a few pushes DS was born. It will go great! Good luck and good labor vibes to you!!!!
