Here is my update from my endocrinologist visit.

He said my numbers indicated very mild hyperthyroidism and most likely it is just pregnancy related and will go back to normal soon. He also also said that the levels are fine for baby and my body isn't doing anything that would harm baby. The main thing is just to keep an eye on it and to watch it postpartum since your thyroid can do funky things then.

He did an ultrasound of my thyroid and saw one small cyst but he said it looked benign and that 40% of people off the street will have a small cyst on their thyroid. While he was doing the u/s I was wishing I could ask him to put it on my belly and peek at baby.

He is running some more tests including auto antibodies just to be sure. Then I see him again in 2 months.

I was glad to hear he wasn't really concerned. I'm good as long as baby is okay!

Glad to hear you had such a good appt!!!! I wouldve thought the same thing about asking to put that u/s want on my belly
