This is what I posted in my DDC, I dont think anyone there has lost as much weight as I have, and I dont think anyone here has/did either but I thought I'd ask

Quote:
I've lost 16lbs from my 6.5 week check, or 13lbs from my prepregnancy weight. My doc's haven't said anything yet. With Seamus I lost at least 15lbs probably more. I had Gestational Diabetes with him and will be getting tested in about 2weeks with this one Pretty sure thats what causes my weight loss with pregnancy.

But at what # of pounds lost does your doctor get worried?[/b]

I honestly don't think it would be a concern unless you're losing weight because you're not eating. A lot of women on the GD diet don't gain much weight or even lose some and it's fine.

Depends on starting weight really. I have had friends who lost weight during pregnancy to putting on 80lbs. When you do eat, eat healthy and as long as little one is growing fine your good. Remember they will suck what they need from you first, so your baby isn't like to suffer, you would. And since YOUR not showing any issues of malnutrition then baby sure isn't.
