My mom and I had a great time while she was here recently! She brought baby things and maternity tops with her. Then we did shopping of our own. Most of it was resale and a HUGE baby garage sale. We only bought one thing new.

Here are pics of some of the things we got.

The only thing we got new was at Babies R Us. This year's Christmas ornament.

The garage sale we went to was held by a local moms of multiples group. It was massive! So many cute clothes and so cute to see two of each little outfit for sale in many cases.

Check out this loot:

18 pieces of clothing (not including some things that came together as a set), 9 bibs and 2 cloth diaper/burp clothes. Grand total of....$17!!! Wow!

Here's close ups of some of my favs.

The hungry caterpillar:

Cookie monster front:

Cookie monster back:

Here kitty kitty front:

Kitty back:

Incidentally, I think this will go with a hat I bought at Target a few weeks ago for $1. Here's the hat:

Our baby could go as our cat Justin for Halloween, WDYT? If Justin approves.

More from garage sale, UT outfits (the one on the left says "Little Longhorn"):

Tall and hungry:

Also found at the garage sale, a Nojo Dr. Sears baby sling for $15.

Resale shop find, a Baby Bjorn for $25, will be Dh's carrier of choice:

So excited when I found this!

My mom brought this hat with her for baby's first summer:

Another resale find, bunnies that kind of match my nursery set.

And....my nursery set! I bought this about a month ago. It is discontinued and I was able to get the pieces of it that I want. I didn't take pics of everything, but you can get the idea. Here's the quilt: (the bunnies feel soft to the touch too)

Part of the crib bumper:

Pics of the mobile:

Just for fun because we are crafty like that, a pic of the fall wreath my mom and I made for my front door:

And finally, a link to my belly pics. http://www.justmommies.com/boards/index.ph...owtopic=1238414
I can really see a difference between my original picture and now.

That's some awesome stuff....so I take it your nursery will be bunny-themed? That's adorable....your kitty is very cute too, I wonder how she will act when the baby will get here (or the crib...she might use it as her own jungle gym).

Yup, bunny theme.

I have two cats, they generally aren't allowed in the bedrooms but they have come nosing around in the nursery sniffing everything while I'm in there sorting. I think when baby comes they will freak out and run away until they get used to the crying/noises. At least that is how they were with my niece when she was little.
