Back and I have a embie in my belly!!!

They transfered a perfect Blastocyst grade BA (Apparently BA is better then AB...) They so far were able to freeze 2 eggs today and 6 more are being watched. 1 did not make it.

Here is our embie:

Also, apparently, i am very allergic to seseme oil... which is odd cause i consume it a lot, but the doc looked at my rear today and told me no more Progesterone in Oil from now on for me! I have 2 huge red swollen welts that bulge out from my skin....... yeah.. id take a picture but i dont want my arse on the internet lol

__________________________________________________ ____________________
I just got my call -- my embies are doing SO well that transfer was moved to Wednesday!!!! Hooray!!!

I still have all 10 embies alive!!!! 8 of them are grade A!!!!! 2 are lagging a little behind.

Hooray!! Grow embies grow!!!

Fertilization report:

15 follies asperated
16 eggies retrieved (2 for 1 deal!)
15 were mature eggs
10 fertilized

They will let us know Monday if we are going in for a 3 or 5 day transfer. Dr Z said the way the eggs are growing right now we are looking at a 5 day transfer.

The progesterone shots have made it so i have a hard time sitting and walking

i figured one thread is enough. I'll just update it and such

Report for this morning:

AF is STILL here and this is apparently normal. (Ugh) Its very light though -- don't even need anything its only when i wipe.

I am to take the non-drowsy benedryl with my stim meds 1 hour prior. The syringe is latex free sooo its my skins reaction to the meds. (Yay sensitive skin....)

My yeast infection is gone THANK G-D. I cleared it up all on my own (Yahhooo!). She thought maybe it was from the antibiotics from the water sono but i had to explain that was almost 7 weeks ago. She told me eat yogurt and no sleeping with underwear on for a few nights. She sad lupron can sometimes change the acidity in the vagina and that probably happened with me. So, this nice warm, dark, moist environment that was nice and basic instead of acidic and let fungus grow like wild fire. She said from here on out, external cream only and if it comes back, to go in immediately.

I never want one of those ever again. It was horrible! Ive never had one before I wanted to scratch my va-jay-jay off!

Eggies!

Left: Lots of small follicles, cyst went from 14.0mm to 14.5mm. Largest follicle is 8mm. She is surprised this ovary is responding well with the cyst I have.

Right: Collapsed follicle is 16.5mm, no cysts, Largest follicle less then 8mm. Lots of small follicles.

She said my ovaries are still waking up and by this weekend they should have things swingin' in high gear in there and with all my follicles (20+) she said by Monday i will be very uncomfortable. Yippie?

So around 3 today I'll get my report on tonights drugs (Might have to up menopur by 1 vial. We'll see!) and I think i am going back Friday or Saturday.

I am off to get my hair dyed since i wont be able to do so for my wedding. I am getting it put back to my natural color so this way in January, i can just throw highlights in and be ok

Still on Bravelle 300 units and Menopur 75 units and 10 units of Lupron.

Linning is looking EXCELLENT! She said its beautiful!

Left Ovary - 10's and 11's for follies. Cyst SHRUNK!!!! to 10mm from 14.5 (Yay! Thats EXCELLENT!) About 8 or so follies on this side.

Right Ovary - Collasped follie is taking up space and is filling with fluid (20mm now). 11mm follies on this side. Few 10's and smaller ones. About 8-10 follies total.

She said I should expect 15-20 eggies to be retrieved.

Trigger will be TUESDAY!

Wow this is exciting. So then what happens to the 15-20 eggies?? Do they take DHs sperm and try to fertilize the eggs? And how many will they try to implant? Not sure if anyone remembers from Friends when Phoebe was implanted with her bro and sil's eggs- wasn't it like 20 they put in her- and she said- 'what? Now where am I going to give birth- in the barn?' And the dr said it gives a 25% chance that one will stick- and the brother said 'dr what if you put like 100 in there' and SIL said 'honey- she's not a gum ball machine'.

Sorry love Friends . Can you explain what will happen next? I am fascinated by this!!!

For healthy 25 year olds 15-20 eggs is normal. Some women have insane amounts like 30 and 40, but with my 15-20 i am already uncomfortable and could not fathom 30 eggs! (30 would be a nice number though!). Because my RE is seriously concerned about hyperstimulating me, we're only getting 15-20 eggs. If we need more eggs, we're gonna go ahead and do IVF in 2010 before we move outta New York and just freeze everything. We don't plan on trying for another until 2011 (When we try for twins! I want a 2 for 1 deal! lol.)

When they retrieve the eggs (DF will be giving a deposit at the same time I am under), they will check them all out and weed out any bad or overly mature or immature eggs. They sometimes allow the immature eggs to try and grow for another 24 hours and they will just lag a day behind and get frozen later. They then will inject 1 sperm into each egg (the best of the best sperm, we dont have many so they will be hard to find), and watch the eggs grow. They will tell me right after the procedure how many eggs they got, and will call me the following day and tell me how many fertilized overnight. (10-12 fertilizing would be great! Usually you lose 2 or so eggs along the line, so having a lot of embryo's left over would be awesome!)

Each day they will grade the eggs (A being the best, D being the worst -- Just like school. F is a dead eggs obviously) and watch the cell division. For a day 5 transfer which is what I am doing, they are looking to implant the best of the best which would be an 8-cell, Grade A egg. We are implanting one egg because my RE is VERY confident this will work the first time, and 2 eggs would certainly yeild twins for me and DF and I really really cant afford twins.

DF and I spoke and the only way we are implanting 2 eggs, is if we don't have any 8 cell, grade A or A- eggs. Grade A eggs almost always result in pregnancy. Grade B usually results in pregnancy.

So thats the plan!
