So as I said in my post yesterday (somewhere), I left work and came home at 1pm due to tummy pain, which I thought was IBS related.

I've gotten up this morning and felt fine... but I can barely sit down for pain. I need to go to work as I hate taking time off. This is driving me insane I've been eating more veggies, more fibre (bran flakes), drinking more water and fruit juice... so why has it stopped working? Why is this back again

You are?! Sorry but YEY!! Its not just me?

Have you seen your doc about it? What did they say if so? Or what do you think is causing it? I'm sitting eating my lunch, doing nothing physical, and I can feel it starting up again.

I dont know your whole situation, but I know when i started eating more fiber and more greens that I was SOOO bloated from gas (sorry TMI!). I am not pregnant, nor have I ever been I started Weight Watchers back at the end of May and it took me about a month until my body could start digesting the extra fiber and greens better. Thats just my opinion.

I haven't seen a doctor in over a month because of the whole moving around for the military thing. So the only things I can come up with to do are the things you mentioned and none of them are really working. Raisin Bran is basically the only thing that helped me at all...so I'm trying to wait and hang on til my appointment in 2 weeks. I wish I could help you more I know how much this sucks.

It's common to get much worse in pregnancy. I have always had a problem with constipation. It gets worse while pregnant because your digestive system slows down more. I know it's awful to deal with. I hope you get some relief soon.

It got a lot worse after lunch and baby has hardly moved at all today. I knew I felt him/her this morning when I got up @ 6:30am, but for the rest of the day baby has been very quiet. I pannicked mid-afternoon and was going to phone the hospital (my docs are closed today), but I got a huge kick around 3 or 4pm ish. Still quiet but is moving a little. And the doppler picked up the HB as normal when I got home. So I feel more relieved. I'm sore again tonight, so who knows. I'll see how I am tmor if it's the same I'll be phoning doc in the morning the see if I can be seen tmor instead of Monday. I feel a little dramatic but it's very uncomfy.

*~*Candace*~* - that's interesting, thanks for posting that. I keep saying to DH I'm not constipated but it feels like toilet-related or gas-related pain. So that may be it?!

Caitlynn - thanks, I'm glad to have someone else to compare diets, symptoms etc with.

Aww Fi. The prenatals I take lately have a stool softener in them. Maybe something like that would help? I eat raisin bran when I have tummy problems and I've been eating a lot of instant oatmeal too.

are you taking any thing for gas (like gas-x)? But everything your eating causes gas...so hot liquids, gas-x meds -very safe for baby!, and lots of walking should help it.

I'm not taking any meds at all. I'm feeling a lot better this morning and baby is moving well again, less than usual but more than yesterday. I have my doc app on Monday so I'mhopeful I should get more advice and info.
