Have any of you heard of LilyPads? I bought some today and they are great so far. Here is a link: http://www.lilypadz.com/index1.html

They are nursing pads that you can use over and over again. They are made of thin, soft, flexible and breathable silicone. You can wear them without a bra which is the best part because I hate sleeping in a nursing bra at night.

I'm so happy that I don't have to buy anymore throw away nursing pads. The washable cotton pads I had always leaked. I paid $21 for them.

I'd never heard of them before but I'll keep them in mind. I know I most likely won't find them here but I'll see if my sister can find some in Canada.

Thanks Resi!

I had LilyPadz that I used when I was breastfeeding Lily. They seemed to work at first but I just had sooooo much milk that they couldn't keep up. The disposable pads were itchy and felt gross after they got wet and the Gerber cotton ones leaked like crazy. I finally got smart and invested the money in NICE cloth nursing pads from Homemade Mama. They are made of organic bamboo velour and are suuuuuuper soft. They are contoured so they don't show under clothes and have a PUL backing so they are waterproof (just like cloth diapers!). The other nice thing about the bamboo velour is that it pulls the moisture away from the nipple, which is sooo helpful in terms of healing and preventing thrush. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

Those sound nice. If the lilypads don't work out I will think about ordering some. This is off topic.. but I saw your post in cloth diapering about Crunchy Clean and I want to order some. The problem I'm having is when I go to the website www.crunchyclean.com it takes me to that Hyenacart. I don't know what to do once it takes me there. I don't see the crunchy clean stuff on there or in any cart. Do I need to sign up for a hynena account first?

Yep, you'll need to sign up for an account before you can place an order. Once you do that, the regular laundry detergent can be found here and the diaper detergent is here. By the way, I am TOTALLY loving this stuff! My clothes and diapers are so, so clean and I love that it is an all-natural detergent instead of being full of chemicals.

Oh, and if you have an HE machine or a front-loader, then you only use half as much so it's like getting twice as much detergent for the same price!
