It's a Lascal M1 that I found on Craiglist for $75. It matches our carsteat and stroller perfectly too

Here is a pic, but I haven't completely adjusted the straps right (just wanted to try it on yesterday at my mom's house). So far it feels GREAT and Reid seems to really like it!

It's super cute. It looks very similar to the Bjorn.

*gasp* Jess! No! It's more comparable to the Ergo from what I've read (as far as where the support lays and overall comfort), and everything says that it's far superior to the Bjorn.

Breanna! You look so thin already! I'm jealous. The carrier looks great too.

As far as how he is in the carrier it looks alot like the Bjorn....his legs are almost straight, so his weight is on the groin area. By the looks of the carrier you may be able to play with the straps so that his butt hangs in more of a pouch and his knees bend. It could be he is so small for that type of carrier so his butt doesn't weight enough to get it to go down.
Not sure if that makes sense. http://www.theslingstation.com/babycarriers.html click on here and just look at baby's butts/knee position...the butt is down and knees are bent some.

I was beginning to think it was my eyes playing tricks on me, glad someone else sees it. Here's a pic of Alyssa in her carrier. She sits on her butt when she's in it, when she was teensy, all you could see were her little feet sticking out the sides, lol. Notice the band around the waist/hips, that carries a lot of the weight so that your shoulders don't have to carry all the weight.

Ah, I see what you mean! I adjusted it last night and I think the problem was that the "crotch" wasn't correct. I didn't have the shoulder straps hiked up enough in that pic. When I pulled those, the whole carrier portion shifted up. That being said, it doesn't carry as much weight in the baby's butt as the Ergo

I'm bummed out now. I was looking for an Ergo on Craigslist, but there wasn't one, and I found this one instead. I only heard great reviews about it, so I jumped on it. I paid $75 and retail is $129. Cheapest on eBay was $99 + shipping, so I felt like I was getting a good deal on a good product. Ugh.

There are a couple of mamas on another board I'm on that is centered more around cloth diapering and attachment parenting that have a Lascal and love it. If you want to PM me, I could give you some more info and perhaps you could post over there for advice? Or maybe post on the AP board here, if you haven't already? Just a thought!

It may be the perfect carrier for you, all that matters is that you and Reid are both comfy when you wear it. All I used with Zack was a Bjorn and I never knew the difference because I'd never tried the nicer carriers--didn't even know about them, and we were perfectly happy using the Bjorn, I just couldn't use it for long periods of time. It's like my Camry, I love it, it's perfect for me and my family. But if I drove a Lexus for a while, you can bet your butt I wouldn't want to go back to driving a Camry again, lol. It's kinda like that, the Ergo is the Lexus of baby carriers, lol.

Oh, and my Ergo only cost me $92 after shipping brand new! Sign up for the great cloth diaper hunt at www.diaperdecisions.com and you'll get a discount code to use at a ton of different online stores.

It looks nice Bre and maybe it will work well for you guys.

I feel a little bad too because I paid $25 for a used Bjorn thinking I was getting a great deal and doing sooo much better than a Snugli, only to find out the Bjorn isn't really the best.

Well even if it isn't "the best" it really does match your carseat and stroller like perfectly! and you did get a good deal on it, if it isn't the right fit for you and Reid I'm sure you'll be able to re-sell it for the same or similar!
