My SO and I BD'd Saturday and Sunday with no protection (were supposed to start ntnp in November and December then officially start trying in January) and I got a + opk yesterday. We werent able to DTD yesterday, and im hoping we can tonight but if we arent able to (my SO has school tonight) should I still count myself in for a 2ww? Or were those too far away from ovulation? I hope I have a chance this month, but im not getting too excited because I know even if I did have a chance, theres only a SLIM chance. I wanna hear someone who DTD that far ahead of ovulation and got pregnant! I want some hope to hold on to!!

Thanks girls!

Well let's assume that O day is today:

Saturday -4 Yes

Sunday -3 Yes

Monday -2 No

Tuesday -1 No

Wednesday 0 Yes???

So you'd have a pretty good chance - doing it on O day and the day before is the best so the books say. FF doesn't even count you a chance for greater than 3 days prior to O I think? But technically dr.'s say sperm can live in an ideal fertile environment for up to 5 days so there is always a chance. You don't temp do you - without knowing exactly when you O'ed its hard to say - I always O'ed 2 days after my + opk so you never know.

I think Fi got preggie with a DTD date a few days before O.....

You have a good chance. Your chances are higher when you BD the days before ovulation (like 2-3 days before). I conceived either 2 or 3 days before I ovulated.

I think you have a good chance too. We conceived exactly 2 days before I o'd. There was only 1 day we didn't use protection. It is possible. Good luck!!!

I think you have a good chance!

I never used an OPK but I used to get O pains so I'd have some idea when my body was O'ing.
