I'm probably the most delinquent person with pics of the nursery and stuff that I have so far. I've really not started to put anything together except the crib but I plan to get it all sorted out after the shower.
DH got me this mother and baby chain to wear when the baby comes. They were a few options but I liked this one. It's 14k yellow gold with small diamonds.
The nursery - crib:
The nursery - double bed with clutter. I had it set up as a big day bed but now I have the suitcases on it that have in the unisex baby things and the baby bedding. These have been here since my trip to NY in August.
The nursery - Breast pump, pack n play w/bassinet and changing table, baby bouncer, baby lightweight umbrella stroller, boppy pillow and cover.
The only "girly" things I've personally bought:
Some of the stuff my sister who's coming home for the holidays has bought - she's been buying the "girly" things:
Alice, I had to use white because all the built in stuff was white and it would be a pain to have redone to a warmer color. I personally love darker woods and finishes. DH is to repaint the two bedside tables that I have the pink scarf on.
Anna, I would love to move the bed out (lol) but there's no where else to put it. It used to be the guest bed and because it's a double one, it takes up a lot of space but the room is still comfortable so I guess it will stay. It does restrict my options for arranging the baby furniture but I like that I can sleep there too if the baby is fussy when DH goes back to work. He will still be able to rest in our room as I will be home.
Fi, it was exciting to put up the crib but after it was up, I wanted to unpack everything and put it out but I'm holding out. I can't wait for the day to get it all up.
How cute your Necklace Is!!!!!!!!
I LOVE the crib! Thats exactully what I wanted but In black or Esspresso but I couldn't find It.....Can't wait to see more pic's as you progress!!!
I opened everything Which was a mistake, as you say, it's gathering dust. But it'll give me something to do when I start Mat Leave!! Lots of washing to freshen up baby clothes and blankies!!
I have a few friends with beds in the nursery because like you they don't have anywhere to put it.....THEY LOVE having the bed in there! They say the turn it into a little breastfeeing/co-sleeping when DH's working/changing table type nest! LOL
Thanks for sharing pictures!
