Ok ladies, please do NOT SAY who you voted for....of course some of you we obviously know but I wanted to make the election poll anonymous so we don't have any problems.

Did you vote today?
Were there long lines?
How long did it take?
Did you and SO vote for the same person?
Are you going to stay up late to find out the results?

Did you vote today? I sent in my absentee ballot!
Were there long lines? I heard on the radio that some people were waiting 3-4 hours around here
How long did it take? N/A I just had to drop it in the mailbox
Did you and SO vote for the same person? Yep, we did!
Are you going to stay up late to find out the results? No, I really want to but I'm so tired all the time and I know I'll be miserable tomorrow if I stay up late.

Did you vote today? Yes I did, after work

Were there long lines? Not inside. The parking lot was crazy because it was an elementary school without alot of parking.

How long did it take? Just a few minutes

Did you and SO vote for the same person? Yes we did

Are you going to stay up late to find out the results? For awhile. I think it's interesting to see how each state votes. I also think it's funny that the county we live in doesn't vote with the majority of our state.

I voted 2 weeks ago by absentee ballot. Dh did not vote because he did not get registered in time to vote absentee. I have no idea who he would have voted for. I woke up early to get the results, hehe

Well, I'm not American and obviously couldn't vote but I stayed up til 10:30pm watching the votes come in. It was so exciting. After I couldn't stay up any longer, I went to bed and then got up around 2AM to check on the results again and the verdict was in that Mr. Obama had won. I'm pretty excited about it all but I do hope that Americans put their differences aside whether they are democrats or republicans and pull together as one band of people to help them get through this crisis because that's what it will take.
