Ladies, I need your help! My mom called me yesterday, and said that she needs a list of songs by Thursday. My grandparents 60th wedding anniversary party is Friday night, and my grandma LOVES to dance. Her only requirement when the party was being planned was that there be a DJ or band. This is my same grandma who went on my wedding cruise, and was in the ship nightclub at 1am, drunk, dancing with all our friends. She is seriously 21 at heart. My granddad just goes along with the flow. That's probably why they've been married for 60 years, lol.

So, when you are at a party or reception, what song always gets you out of your chair? What do you absolutely have to get your drink, and go dance to? For me, it's the song "Sweet Caroline". My husband loves "Baby Got Back". (And he's a RIOT dancing to it) Maybe I should keep a close eye on his alcohol consumption this Friday.

What about slow songs? I love "The Hornblowers Daughter" by Damien Rice. We danced to that at our reception.

I can't wait to hear what you all come up with. I love a good reception or party! Of course, there is an open bar at my grandparent's party, with over 200 guests. Guess who the DD is???? That's right, the joys of pregnancy, lol!
