Wow Time Is Flying!

I just got back from my appointment. All is well. I'm measuring 1cm a head in my tummy, is that like a week or something? He didnt specify. I'm gaining perfectly as well. This was the first time we met this guy. Apparently they hired a woman a while ago (I think I met her for my very first appointment) at the time she was 6 months pregnant. So she's on Mat leave so this guy is covering for her for the next 5 months. He was nice.. shy though! haha.

Anywhooo! I go back in three weeks and then I'm going every 2 weeks!

YAY!!! BABY HERE WE COME!!!!

Apparently, you should be a cm for each week you are preggy. My M/w didn't measure me last visit, I was most disapointed!

I'm back on 5th Dec which is the first of my fortnightly (2weekly) check-ups! I've never been weighed since my 12 wk hospital visit. So technically, I don't know how much gain I've had. I may ask next visit

Glad your app went well! Did you do bloodwork this trip?

Nope no blood work. I did my GD test this past month and that's done in the lab. I believe that's all for blood work. No more needles until my IV when baby is coming! I'm SO pumped about that lol.

you guys care differs from ours. We do bloods @ 28 weeks and 36 weeks but we don't get that glucose test you do unless our bloods/urine show increased sugar levels.

Isn't that funny hey? Care can differ so much and yet they both produce very healthy happy babies!

Anytime around 28 weeks we get the glucose test, although I should say that I also had my white blood cell count checked as well as my hemoglobin or whatever the heck that is! haha. Is that what blood work you are talking about? If so we get that done around 28 weeks and then that's it.

They don't do the GD tests here either unless there's some indication of a problem in your urine and blood tests.

I also was quite aware of the cm thing but I guess it's good to know.
