Leaving for Michigan tomorrow

I'll be MIA until at least next Wed. We're leaving tomorrow for Michigan to spend some time with my grandma. I'm excited but nervous at the same time. I haven't seen her in about 10 years! I don't really know how well she is doing right now. I remember when my other grandma had cancer, before she passed away, all she did was sleep and when she was awake she would talk crazy. She did have brain cancer though. My grandma now has lung cancer. I'm also nervous about the drive up there. It's already snowing up that way, and we're not used to snow down here. And with my brother's wreck being caused by ice, it makes us all a little nervous. I'm excited for the trip though. I will get to see some of my other relatives too. I plan on taking my camera, so I'll take some pics. Oh yeah, I think AF officially started today, so I'm sure it's gonna suck having to drive 20 hours in a car with cramps! I have a lot to do today. I probably won't be on too much before I leave, so I wanted to say bye now. See you all when I get back!

Where in Michigan are you going? Its really cold here, so pack some warm clothes. Todays high was 36! Lows at night are in the 20s! Its normally not this cold yet!!

Thanks girls. Anna, my grandma lives in Midland, Mi. We also have family in Saginaw. Yeah, I talked to my dad earlier, and he said it's already snowing, so make sure to pack warm clothes.

Have fun in Michigan Michelle - stay warm! BTW - my family is from Saginaw and I grew up there - I was born there and moved away when I was 15 but my family goes back many generations in good old Saginasty as we lovingly like to call it! Have fun!
