Guess who came to visit????

I am so happy AF arrived last night!!!! I was so happy I cried a little!! This means 4 days until I start CLOMID!!!!!!!! I have bad cramps though, like I have never had before, OUCH!!! I don't care though, BRING IT!!!

One question, The DR said to take Clomid on day 5 of bleeding, if AF came last night around 11:15, and was very light, should I count yesterday as day 1 or today as day 1???? I really don't want to mess this up!!

I always thought the first day of AF is supposed to be the first day of red flow (not the old, brown spotting or light flow). I could be wrong though.

Oh yeah!!

I love me some Clomid!

I'd call and ask your dr or nurse if you aren't totally sure on when to start the Clomid. But go with the red flow, if that was last night, then I'd say yesterday was CD 1.

I will say that some drs have you start on CD 3 (mine did), so there is some variation on which day to start; if you're off by a day it won't mess anything up. Btw, I don't think there is any difference in success rates based on which day you start either, it's just dr preference.

Thanks Ladies, I am so excited!!! I just keep thinking "it has to work" Then I get all exctied, but I have to realize that it probably won't work on the first cycle so i have to be patient!!

I think you have a great attitude. Chances are it won't work the first time or two, BUT it might which is super exciting. Plus, for most people it is only a matter of time once the fertility drugs get started that they are seeing a BFP!! There are a bunch of preggos here to prove it!

Thanks Michelle!!! I really hope it works out on the first try as well!!! My Dr is optimistic that it will only take a couple of months because there really is nothing wrong with me according to ultrasounds and blood work!! Twins dust would be awesome!! DH and I would both love twins!!!

Oh... the Clomid gave me hot flashes today!!!! Is that normal??

Ohhh yeah, the hot flashes are the worst! It's funny though, b/c I get them pregnant too. But the clomid ones were worse

I think Shannon got a BFP her first clomid cycle!

Morgan-I just want to through out there that the best time to take your Clomid is right before bed. You can then sleep through SOME of the side effects of the drug. Hot flashes are a normal (very common) side effect.

Thanks ladies for your advice!!! Today, along with the hot flashes, came very sore boobies!!! BLAH, but it is so worth it, and in the end I will have a beautiful baby to show for it so....BRING IT ON
