My hypnobabies instructor called me this morning and said that NBC Augusta wanted to do a segment about hypnobabies and she was wondering if I would be interviewed for it! It was really short notice but thank goodness I had time to straighten my hair and put makeup on
I have it DVR-ing at the moment, I don't know if it will be on their website or anything but if I can ever find a link I'll post it so you ladies can see it. I have the feeling I'm just going to be embarrassed because I hate the way my voice sounds, but I'm going to force myself to watch it
They asked me a bunch of questions, I talked about how my labor with Aden was really scary and painful and how this time around I'm not so nervous because hypnobabies has helped me relax and all that good stuff.



Also AWESOME news, I didn't know until last night but I thought my instructor was moving to VA, and I guess it didn't work out so she is staying here! That means she can be my doula and I'll have an actual hypnobabies instructor as a doula for our birth, which is especially awesome if we have to go to the hospital. Plus she's really awesome and I feel totally comfortable with her

I just watched it! It is so true that the camera adds 10 lbs....and I did not have 10 lbs to spare LMAO! Other than my face looking all fatty, it was a really good segment! They were very positive about it and they used really good clips of us talking. And they showed baby boy's u/s picture so he was on the news too hehe It was actually a pretty long segment for a 1/ hour news show too...

Awesome! Too bad there are no instructors but you can totally still do it with the home study. It's really how much you put into it, the more you practice the better!

Yippey Yay for Hypnoababies getting positive publicity! That is so awesome! I'm really happy that you'll get to keep your instructor for your doula. It is a really comforting feeling knowing that your doula will know all the specific HB things to do and say. I can't wait to read your birth story in only two short months or so. Time is flying!
