I have been very lucky with Abby. She was partially BF but never got sick until shortly after her 1st bday. We ascertained it was due to someone from her 1st bday party (which is a ridiculous huge big fat deal here in the 50th state...and I get to go through it all again in 2010!). Anyway, since then she hasn't been sick that much. She has never had any vomiting incidents yet or anything. But since July when she started going to preschool...gee whiz! She was only doing 1/2 days 3x a week up till October, and one of those weeks her school was closed. She's now on full days but still 3x a week. I feel like she's always sick! I have heard that the 2nd year they are at school/daycare their immunity has built up and it gets better.

Oh, so anyway, yes, she is sick AGAIN. She had diarrhea on Sunday night so we kept her home from school on Monday. She was fine till Thursday when she developed a fever & some cold symptoms. I think we're rid of the fever now & just dealing w/ the cold...knock on wood! My poor little girl! Being preggo and taking care of a sick kid is so much more exhausting than not being preggo & taking care of a sick LO.

I'm with you! Just a few days ago Gemma was complaining of a headache. So I got her early from daycare and took her upstairs to put her in PJ's and give her some Tylenol. Wouldn't ya know she puked ALL over me! It was really nasty. But at least I know she ought to be immune to every disease known to man by the time she graduates!
