We have 20+ people coming over so I am cooking up a storm! I've been baking most of today and getting my appetizers ready so that all I'll have to worry about tomorrow will be the meat and side dishes. This is what I have on my menu... so far, lol. Keep in mind I'm pregnant so it keeps changing!!
Appetizers
Spinach & artichoke dip w/ pita chips
Cocktail shrimp dip w/ crackers
Taffy apple dip w/ apples (for the kids)
3 dz Deviled eggs
Entrees
Turkey w/ cornbread dressing and gravy
Chicken w/ dressing
Spiral ham
Sides
Mashed potatoes
Mac & cheese
Candied yams
Corn casserole
Green bean casserole
Salad
Rolls
Beverages
Alcohol
Egg nog
Mulled cider
Desserts
Pumpkin pie (2)
Apple pie
Chocolate chip cookie pie
Plus I'm making cinnamon rolls and orange sticky buns for breakfast tomorrow morning while we watch the parade.

We're headed to my gram's house for Thanksgiving 'dinner' (more like lunch, 2PM). Then I have to come home, pack, and I leave for Greensboro, N.C. at 3AM on black Friday.

I cooked last year and had a bunch of people over...not this year!!!
We are going to a friend's house, but I am making green bean casserole, potato casserole and pumpkin pie to take over. They will give us turkey and potatoes and stuffing for leftovers so it's all good

Thanksgiving is at my house! We are having around 10 people! I'm just glad I don't have to travel and we get to keep the leftovers!
Today I prepped: stuffing, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, fruit salad, cheese log and DH is prepping turkey.
Tomorrow we are having:
Turkey
green bean casserole
sweet potato casserole
mashed potatoes
3 kinds of stuffing
rolls
pumpkin pie
chocolate silk pie
apple pie
cheesecake!
I'm so excited! I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!!!

We don't have any family in town so it's just friends - mostly the single guys in Lee's squadron who can't make it home for the holidays. I absolutely love to cook for the holidays so today and tomorrow are fun for me. Plus, Lily "helped" with mixing and that was suuuuuuuper cute!

We're having a nice family feast at my mom's house. They'll be 5 people including my sister who's driving up from Columbus. It'll be a nice change back to what we're used to as the past few years we all trucked to my m-i-l's house and ate off of t.v. trays...

We're traveling to my in-laws and my parents. I made 2 sweet potato pies and 2 pumkin pecan cakes yesterday. I may or may not get JM time the next couple of days, and probably won't post, so I will catch up with you all in a few days.
