Hello ladies!

I've been told to pop over here and join you girls. We just found out we are expecting our first....still in such shock over here. Definitely not planned, but I am SO EXCITED. This actually works out beautifully because I should deliver during the summer break. Seems like everything happens for a reason!!

Hello and congratulations! Was your baby a surprise? How long were you waiting to conceive?

I'm Carolyn (29 and 11.5/12ths--ha!), and my DH, Scott and I have been trying/ntnp for over a year. Still nothing yet, but we only just got "serious" about conceiving our first a couple cycles ago (like 4 or 5?). I'm a part time graphic designer/SAHW and DH is currently working two jobs as web director/web designer and will resign one soon to be fully self-employed. Wish us luck (and success)!

I look forward to hearing updates from you. Are you going to join a Play room and start a Belly pics thread? Oh, and if you decide you like us and want to stay, ask to add your ticker to the chart stalking thread sticky! See you around and happy thanksgiving!!

We weren't going to start TTC until March of next year, and if by some reason I got pregnant right away that would put the due date in the last semester of school. Very doable. I guess we not only moved the date up by 4 months, but apparently DH and I are *very* compatible, lol! All this came from a single night of unprotected sex, but I was charting and FF said my O date was a week and a half away! Poor DH did say he felt cheated out of the "trying" part, but I don't know if my poor nerves could have taken it. I told him to look at the bright side and now we can do it all the time and not worry about an "oopsie"
