Look at my chart....my temp this morning dropped big time!! I am wondering if this is because I sleep with a fan beside my bed, and slept with my mouth open last night!! What should I do.......tape my mouth shut..lol!!

you could be o'ing. I get a dip when I o. I hope that's the case! As for the mouth breathing? I had to resort to vaginal temping because I snore. My chart is much prettier as a result.

So for Vaginal temping, how far do I stick it up there???............*note to self..don't forget and stick thermometer in mouth*

I usually stick a finger in first and then slide the thermometer as far in as comfortable. Usually almost up the the display. I picked up the finger trick after accidentally insterting the thermometer into my urethra... not fun.

I am also an open mouth sleeper and what I did was once I woke up I would temp with the covers over my head. I think the most important thing is that you are consistent with how you temp. And if you may or may not have slept with your mouth open. And if you may or may not have had the fan on (or the windows open or the heat on).

I have found that the covers over the head seemed to make everything a bit more consistent but still very readable. Hey it worked for me! HAHA.

I would try temping vaginally. That's what I did and it worked great
