Have you been taking Reid to work with you as planned? I was just curious how that turned out. Also, do you know how Jack is doing?

Nope, not taking him to work at all A few days before I came back to work, my boss and I were emailing back and forth about what to expect, and out of the flippin blue, he said "Reid can come to work with you for the first 3 weeks, but then he needs to go to daycare" Are you JOKING?! It was his idea and I confirmed with him like 6 times that it was okay that Reid came to work with me on Mondays. What an a-hole. It pissed me off so badly that I haven't brought Reid in once. Stupid of me probably, but I feel that he isn't welcome here at all, so I'm not going to bring him into this enviornment. Just typical, huh? So, not only did it upset me, but it is costing me an additional $76/week. Gee, thanks!

I haven't seen or heard anything about Jack I am confident that we made the right decision, but I'm still having a hard time with it. I'm just really down in the dumps overall, and thinking about the fact that I GAVE AWAY my dog that I've had since he was a puppy is the icing on the cake

I remember you telling us about your boss. I just wasn't sure you brought Reid in ever. I think I would have done the same thing.

I'm sure you made the right decision with Jack too. I bet he is doing well. My cats drive me nuts lately and sometimes I wish I didn't have them. They are so messy and needy. I never thought I would think that way.

Yeah, it's amazing how your feelings change towards your pets once you have a baby....

You did a great job finding Jack a good home. And I would feel the same way with my child and work if my boss acted like that too. Maybe you can start a photography career and work from home!

I really hope our dog and cat are good after baby girl is born. Our dog is sooooo low maintenance, sleeps all the time, and we can take him to my IL's anytime we want if we go away or whatever. And our cat is sweet, but she does like to be by me all the time!!! But I hope it goes well!

I do worry about my cat jumping in the crib and stuff.
