Haha, yup! My BFP was WAY late, and when I finally got it, it was realllly faint. I was 18DPO before I even had the shadow of a line, and it was ridiculously hard to see. I honestly almost thought it may be an evap because it was a blue dye test, but when I retested with an FRER it was clearly visible.
There is still hope!

I didn't get mine until 16 dpo and I only know that because I know we conceived on the 1st and I got my bfp on the 16th. I had tested on the 12th and it was negative...hope you get a bfp soon!

I'm wondering if you possibly are 1 DPO less than FF says. Purely with the +opk and your CM. However there's still hope. 18 high post O temps is pretty much confirmation of pregnancy. Hang in there!!

If you can handle the waiting then you could test again in a day or do but if it's driving you bonkers, then I'd suggest the blood test.

Thanks ladies. 16 DPO. BFN. No AF. My cervix has retreated to way up high, but is firm and closed. Lots of creamy cm. HUGE appetite and thirst. Kickin' heart burn. I found out that a woman I worked with didn't find out until she was 5 weeks along. She even got a blood test and it was negative, but a week later the pee sticks turned positive. I think I'm saving my last test (Answer) for either 18 or 20 DPO
Lauren, what were your symptoms up to your bfp?

The hunger, thirst and heartburn were symptoms during my pregnancy. In fact, I have never before or since felt that thirsty LOL. Even though mine didn't pan out, I still think it is a good sign you're having those symptoms, especially combined with 16 days of high temps, no spotting and a high closed cervix. Keep on hanging in there!
