Ouchie! I am in a lot of pain now...back and some other areas of my body. I even took stuff out of my backpack today before carrying it around because I know I have to be more careful about things now...and I guess it wasn't enough. I am seriously going to have to figure out how to literally lighten my workload 'cause I can't be carting tons of papers back & forth on a regular basis. Plus I think I have to start paying more attention to my posture and how I sit 'cause I don't want to end up back in p/t (this is so deja vu from a year ago). I wish I could just lay around tonight, but that's not gonna happen. I am, however, going to wait to give Abs a bath till Brant gets home because I'm too sore to do it by myself.
I'm also really grouchy because there is something wrong w/ my email system at work and my tech guy said it might take a while to fix...so I think I am going to just set up a new hotmail or something and hopefully my co-workers will remember to use it. I hate not being on the same system as everyone else, but they didn't fix the problem w/ my account last time for years (yes, literally) so I guess I should be used to it!
ouchy! Be careful what you carry and how you carry... make sure your backpack has 2 straps and use both (one on each shoulder to spread the weight evenly).
Could you get a backpack with roller wheels like luggage? That would be a relief off your back!! Take care of yourself![/b]
I tried before but it's not really practical. I have to go up tons of stairs for work so I'd just end up carrying it anyway, and those things are heavier than regular backpacks.
((huggles)) I was going to suggest a rolling bag as well. I guess there is no elevator? If it gets really bad, plead pregnancy and get a suck up student to carry things for you.
Seriously I hope you feel better soon. My posture can be lousy as well.
