Using my lunar age, etc gave me a girl prediction which appears to be correct. Will confirm on Saturday, hopefully.
Using it with out the lunar age calculations, etc it said boy.

Other predictors tell me a boy. That one tells me girl. I'll let you know in February

The Chinese Charts were right for both Seamus and Kieran
The gender predictors were about 80% right(some varied) with both Seamus and Kieran.
The ones you posted were both 100% correct with both my kids

The first link says boy, the second one says girl.. haha. Confusing. I used my lunar age for both?
We'll see in Feb!

It was wrong for me..
When I was pregnant with Adriana, all the "prediction" tests screamed BOY! Even Adriana's base line heart rate was in the 120's.. I was so depressed then because I really wanted a girl. But God answered my prayers and gave me my sweet little girl..

Well both charts were right for my son! But for this pregnancy - one chart says girl and the other says boy....however, I'm right on the cusp because my conception date is 5 days before my birthday that would make the other chart show girl for me for this one.....ahhh (PS I want another boy really bad!). OH by the way - the heart rate at my last ultrasound for this baby was high like 162 or 172..... does that usually mean girl or boy?

That is supposed to mean girl. But keep in mind it's an old wives tale. The nurses told my mom that my brother's heart rate sounded like a girl and that mine sounded like a boy. Wrong!
Also I am confused about that because when during the pregnancy are you supposed to look at the heart rate to make that guess? At my first appointment it was 162, but at my last one it was in the 140s (and jumped to the 150s when I started talking).

There is actually something to the heartrate and sex of your baby, but its only medically accurate while in active labor! Girl babies tend to have higher rate then male babies when mom is in transition! Something about the girl babies bodies reacting stronger to the hormones in mom's body.

Ben totally fooled me by proving ALL of the old wives tales wrong. His heart rate was over 140 the entire pregnancy, I carried him pretty low (I thought) and right out front, I looked more like a watermelon, craved sugar, etc.
As for this poll, the first link was wrong, the second link was right.

My OB Dr. said there is no link to a baby's heart rate and sex of the baby. She said it's an old wives tale. Adriana's base line heart rate was always 120.. I had Non Stress tests during my last trimester and the tests just monitor the baby's heart rate for 30 minutes and I had to do those tests 3 times a week.. So I knew what Adriana's base line heart rate was.. And when I was induced for 32 hours, her base line heart rate never changed.. And Adriana is clearly a girl and not a boy.. I just think it varies from child to child and I wouldn't get to excited or unhappy due to results of a heart rate..

Your everyday heart rate is where there is no link at all, so with U/S and dopplers that means nothing. But when mom is 8-10cm dilated (and not medicated- I should through out there, since the drugs max the true reaction) the hormones that mom's body releases to start the milk production are released and girl baby's bodys are more sensitive to that so they get a little "adrenaline" boost from it.

Interesting. I guess my older brother and I are just freaks of nature.
