First of all, I have to give a little shout-out...to MYSELF! I made my very first siggy today. Or at least the first one that has turned out halfway decent.

Anyway, some new pics of Ben that I took today:


Our Christmas photoshoot this morning. Funny story...I was sitting him up on our couch which is literally maybe 1.5 feet from the Christmas tree. Well, he's been VERY squirmy lately, so he was squirmy as usual and trying to arch his back which makes him slide down the pillows I had him propped with. So I went to grab this present, I turned away for literally maybe 5 seconds, and when I turned back around, he was FALLING OFF THE COUCH. It was like time moved in slow motion, I stuck out my hand and he landed on his back on my arm. He wasn't bothered by it at all, the little stinker. This picture was POST-falling episode.



my little swaddle addict waking up this morning. I have just given up on trying to teach him to sleep unswaddled because that just means no sleep for any of us.

We haven't rolled yet, but we have discovered our feet and how FUN it is to pull socks off! Hooray! He keeps trying to stick his toes in his mouth, but his little buddha belly gets in the way!


I have a nursing picture, too, but I'm not sure we're allowed to post those on here? If we can, I'll post it. If not...well, then I won't!

Love the siggy and the pics. I esp. heart the swaddle pic! I suck at swaddling, but my DH is the best at it. He's even swaddled Abby recently (for fun) and she thinks it's the funniest thing. I can't wait till I have a swaddle baby of my own again!

Awwwwww he's soooo gorgeous!!! Your siggy looks fab!! And Ive seen other girls with nursing pics. May I ask, do you swaddle him up when he goes to bed at nights? I've got a couple of shawl blankets I hope to use for swaddling - it's meant to settle them more, right?

Yep, I swaddle him before I nurse him to sleep for the night. It's not a true swaddle since I don't wrap his feet into it, it's just to control those spastic little arms of his. I actually use a double blanket swaddle because he can break out of a normal one. When we started wrapping his arms at night, he started sleeping longer stretches. I have tried several times to break the habit by leaving one arm free, but he just wakes himself up over and over again. I'm just hoping someday he'll let me know that he's finished with it!

OMG!!! He's so cute! I love all the pic's. And your siggie Is cute too, good job!!! I thought I was the only one that had the swaddling problem! I still have to swaddle Cambria cause she wont sleep without it! Oh well, what do you do!
