So many of you know DH and I have been trying to get pregnant since I went of birth control in April!! I was on BC for 10 years prior to that month!! My cycles have been so messed up since then!!! I have had so many appt's, ultrasounds, blood tests, exams, phone calls, imaginary symptoms, a positive HPT in April that turned into nothing, heart to hearts with DH, arguments with DH, tears, sleepless nights that Im having a hard time finding the bright side to all of this!! I am on CD 17 and still haven't O'd......... I feel as though this cycle of clomid isn't going to end well!! So yes I am going to cry myself a river, and throw myself a pity party tonight!! My OPK's were getting darker and now they are getting lighter and I forgot to temp this morning!!

All right ladies you are about to read my Bright side!!! So on CD 15 and 16 I had very watery CM and possibly EWCM....or it could be left over from DH, not sure...lol, I had the darkest OPK around 6pm on the CD15!!! I didn't take my OPK on CD 16 until around 7pm the next night, SO, there is a possibility I missed the surge right???? My OPK's have been lighter since then!! I also don't check my cervix that often because, well, I really don't know how, I mean I know where it is and all, but not High, low, hard, soft, open, closed although on the 15th ish my cervix felt different then it usually does, not much higher, but softer and like it was open(keep in mind I could totally be making this up)!! My temps are all messed up and not very reliable(next cycle I will temp vaginally) because I sleep with a fan on, and my mouth open half the time, and really only sleep for 3 hours before I wake up for various reasons!! I don't know, I think Im pretty far off with all of this, but I mean OPK's and charts aren't always right...are they??? Anyone used OPK's on actually O'd but never go a positive OPK???

What has your CM been like the past 2 days? It's a very reliable way to confirm you are fertile.... when it dries up after being W or EW, it's a more true indication than your temps can be. If you are still W or EW, then you;re still fertile, if it's dried up... most likely you have released that eggie.

hang in there hon. if this clomid cycle doesn't work, ask about bumping it up next cycle AND do monitoring(u/s to check follicle development, bloodwork, etc). It can take a bit for the clomid to work if your system is alreay screwy too. OPK's can also be thrown off my PCOS/Clomid, so temping and CM are a better indication.

I don't know much about OPKs, but you may have missed the surge! You had a nice temp dip this morning and more Watery fluid. Perhaps you are Oing now?

Today my CM is almost non existant!! So I don't know!! My DR wants me to do 2 cycles at 50mg of Clomid and then he will bump me up to 100mg. I guess DH and I will just keep DTD and we will see what happens!!
Is watery CM as fertile as EWCM???

watery CM is still considered fertile CM. I never really got EWCM until later on in clomid cycles, so you have to determine what is YOUR most fertile CM.

I know nothing about OPK's because I have never used them... but I wanted to say don't get too stuck on the thought that you have to O around CD14. Just doesn't work that way for a lot of women, me included, and is completely normal. I have always O around CD17 to CD22. This month for some reason I actually did O on CD14 but that's totally out of left field for me LOL. Who knows what goes on in those ovaries of ours!! Your CM sounds pretty promising so just keep on checking it and keep hanging in there. My BFF got pregnant from Clomid and she has a beautiful 2 week old son now so have hope!!

I had a couple months where my OPKS turned almost positive, but not quite and that was as dark as they got. When they start getting pretty dark, I'd usually test twice a day (with cheapies) so that I didn't miss my surge.
Oh and I had some major problems with not having much ewcm at all. Sometimes I'd get the watery, which is good as well. I think the last 3 or 4 cycles of TTC we were using Preseed in case that helped with the mucus.

That sounds like a good idea to ask for an u/s. My RE had me come in to do one at CD 14 to see how many follicles I had and they were able to tell me approximately how many days until I would O just based on the size of the dominant follicle.
