Our original realtor decided to have a cow (which I can understand) so we had to look for another one. So we started seeing this other guy (referred by my MIL) and I fired him. My MIL was never the best judge of character when it came to men.
So I found a website that has some pics and bios, and I have decided to let my GUT decide who to contact next! So if anyone has some free time on their hands and wants to look at pics and read short bios, tell me who YOUR gut says is "the one"

Just a real quick question....did you sign ANYTHING with either of the other two? Because some have this agreement of realator thing that if you leave them and use someone else or find something on your own-THEY STILL get a piece of the action! I can't remember what its called but they are usually 6 month long contracts.

nope, no contracts
The first guy was for another city and he doesn't know our current city well at all
The second guy just showed us one house and sent us some listings, but it told us a lot about him.

HA! Those were who I was thinking too!
It is unbelievable how many cruddy realtors there are, even when referred by a friend. Like, I know more then some of them! That is ridiculous, you know?

we found that when we listed my parents house for sale. I think we went through 5 realtors before we finally got an amazing one(ironically, it was the man who was the general contractor on our house, hahahahha, and had been our neighbor across the street for years before he moved and became a realtor!) who managed to sell the house 5 weeks after he got the listing.

Ron looks funny in his picture, but he actually may be on to something! My hubs is a realtor and he is one of the only people in his office that actually understands the power of the internet in real estate. What I would personally do, is go to some open houses of the realtors that might be a match for you (if there are open houses around there...it's a great way to meet realtors and see if you "click" with them without having to deal with hiring/firing them). We found our realtor that way when we bought our house (before Jon became a realtor).
Really though, I think the important thing is you find someone who is willing to look at a crap ton of houses with you and who actually makes NOTE of what you like/don't like about each one, so that s/he can get a better understanding of your wants and needs. It's so hard to tell by their bios because they all want to sell to you! Out of all of them, I like Ronda the best just judging from the bio. She doesn't sound like she's just in it for the cash and she'll sell you a completely piece of crap just to get her commission, you know?

Here's are my husband's picks and he wants you to know this is coming from a professional realtor!
And I quote:
Its between Ron Park (the 15 year old Realtor), or Murphy the Office Dog
