So starts the picking of boy names! We both like the names Henry and Edison.
Henry is the male form of Harriet, which was my nana's name, the one who passed last month. And everyone use to call her Hank. So we think Hank would be a cute nickname. Edison literally means "The son of Edward"
But doesn't Henry Edison sound like Henrietta? DH doesn't think so. Do you hear it as well?

I don't think it sounds like Henrietta...and actually how often do you say your childs first and middle name together without the last name - hardly ever. I love the meaning behinds the names as well...I love family names - hence my son's whole name!

I have to be honest and say that when I was reading this I was laughing at the post when you referred to it sounding like Henrietta.
I really like Henry Edison! And I don't think it sounds like Henrietta at all!

Seems some agree with me, but I'm glad most of you don't think so. I know that kids can make fun of EVERY name but I don't want to set him up, KWIM
His initials would be HEW.....
