Should they say Mommy, Daddy, Our names, or Mom, Dad?
I like Mommy and Daddy.. I think. I want to order stockings from PB.

My mom's stocking says mom and my dad's says his name  I would go with mommy and daddy though, thats what I plan to do when we have kids!!!

We have stockings from Pottery Barn - they are so cute. All of ours say our names - DH and I got ours before we had kids so I guess that's why - however, even though they say our real names - DS knows whose is whose - he's actually really into names right now and is all excited that he knows my name is Keri and daddy's name is David....so he gets it even though the stockings don't say mom and dad. He knows Santa will leave us goodies in our stockings too!

ditto, ours have our names on them cause we speacil ordered them for our first christmas together before kids! i like mommy and daddy though

I like the idea of Mommy and Daddy too. I think we'll get new ones once we have kids. Right now ours say our names and we also have one for each of our dogs and my FIL too. My FIL's says Pa because that's what our 2 nieces call him.

DH's stocking is the only one that has/will have a name on it. My stocking is the one my grandmother made for me. I made DH's and am in the process of making Leo's.

We just have one stocking for Curtis, which is a little teddy bear and you can stuff his shorts haha. It doesn't have a name on it. Then the ones we have at the in laws don't have names.
If I were to get some now, I would get some with Mommy and Daddy. I think that's terribly cute!!

I like names because you can use them forever....when you have grandkids some day also--so they will be more special cause they are timeless  My dogs have their own with their names on them to! LOL

Ha, ha! That's funny because just the other day, my mom asked me about this: she wanted to know if it would be okay to change from "mom & dad" on their stockings to their names (Corliss & Bob)--I told her that it would be a great change since she's making new stockings to match the ones she made me and DH when we got married. She was thinking ahead for when we have kids. So when any kids come around, our stockings will have our names on them.

I ordered ours yesterday with: Mommy, Daddy, Oliver. I just love that I'm a Mommy and he is a Daddy. Every time I see those two words on our stockings I will get all warm inside.

Very cute idea Resi! I like the Mommy and Daddy. DH and I have plain stockings but no names on them. I would like a new one. And when baby girl comes next year we will probably get new ones for all of us!

ours said our names even my mom's and dad's. But i like the idea of Mommy and Daddy. It's cute.
When DF and I move into our own place together we'll probably do our names. but who knows.

Ours dont say names, they are all different, but in Nebraska so we are buying new ones. The new ones will also be different and have no names.

My parents gave us ones with our names on them the Christmas after we got engaged, so we'll continue to use those. I found a little tiny one this year and wrote "Baby" on it.  Next year, I'll get baby a full size one with his/her name on it.
