How long did your cycle go before you asked your doctor. How long did they let your cycle go before offering help? I'm only on day 42 but i'm curious.

Did you notice any abdomonal pain or swelling?

I think my longest cycle other than the m/c was 35 days, but if this is totally abnormal for you I would go in. Especially if you're having any pain or swelling.

I would go in if you have pain just b/c of ectopic pregnancy fears. And look at your temp! What a weird cycle :dothugs:

Oh and my longest was 5 months, but I have PCOS.

My longest cycle in the last couple of years was 45 days. I didn't go to the doc, but I didn't have any pain, just bloating. If you are concerned, then by all means you should go to the doc! I asked my gyno once just in passing and I think she said anything beyond 45 or 50 days on a regular basis is cause for concern.

Are you normally very regular? Have you confirmed yet whether or not you are pregnant (as in with a blood test)? If not, and this is not normal for you or if you don't normally have irregular cycles, then I would go to the doc at least to have a blood test.

i'm not having pain, just twinges inside both sides of my hip bones, asking for curiosity sake. I am a little swollen though, right above my pubic bone. It looks like when your bladder is very full, except it's still there after I empty my bladder and it's firm and deviating toward the right. strange.

I'm normally irregular, but never this long. I had a blood test a couple days ago and it was negative.

I had a 37 day cycle last month, but i think i ovulated late from stress. Usually mine are 26-28days. In high school I missed my period for about 8 months d/t excessive activities. I never went in earlier, b/c i just didnt care that I didnt get a period But they gave me Provera and i was regular again. The doctor told me they normally dont like to give Provera unless you 'skip' more than 2 cycles.....so that meaning 60+ days without AF. But since you did just have a 41 day cycle this isnt that much longer. But it never hurts to go in and get checked if you think something may me off.

Over 60 days when I was 15 then put on BC
Over 60 days after my m/c in August 2005
Over 90 days after my IUD was out then got BFP

I have ovarian cysts so I'm always in pain from it.

My longest was 42 days long, with ovulation on day 28. I was having irregular and long cycles after having my BC implant removed. For ten months my cycles varied from 32-42 days (average 38) with no other signs that anything was wrong. I went into the doctor after about five months of this and the doctor felt I was still 'regulating' after getting the implant out. Yea, I dont think so. Anyway, I went back in a couple months later and saw a new doctor. She put me onto BCPs for a few months. I was very reluctant, but I think it actually worked. My first two cycles after coming off the pill were 31 and 30 days long.

it long isn't normal for you. over 45 days would be worth a doctors/midwife appointment. I would book now with the twinges and deviated uterus--something else could be up.

i have PCOS so my longest was around 5-6 months...

If you are worried about it and it's not normal for you, go see your doc. especially if there is any pain or swelling.

I went 90 days coming off the pill - but I have PCOS too. My doc said no longer than 90 days again without calling her. With the weird firmness and feelings I would call....you don't want to have a cyst or something....other weird hormone imbalances could be making your temps remain high like that.....I would call....this just doesn't seem normal. Good luck Alice!

My longest was 40 days, and it prompted our ttc journey! But I've always been very regular 29-31 days. In high school I always got my period on the 11th of the month!

I say "get ye to the dr's pronto!"

94 was my longest and then I was put on provera. I do have PCOS tho. I know that the blood test came back negative, how about an ultrasound? Any chance you can convince your dr to set one up for you? Maybe there is something else going on to make you have a longer than normal cycle with high temps.

If you go longer than a month you are supposed to call....what my gyno nurse said. Dr said longer than 5 days over/under was not normal if more than 2 cycles in a row.

I just skipped both Oct AND nov cycles! I hadn't had a cycle since Sept 20th and I just started spotting a few days ago....but it is so very light.

I had normal af cramps here and there, and bloating and I just felt yucky the whole time.....in a cranky mood. But not swelling or pain. If I had had swelling and pain I wouldn't have just called, I would have made an appt. That could be sign of something more severe than just outta whack hormones.....like ectopic pg. They don't always turn pos. on a hpt.

these high temps are intriguing... if they stay up, i'm pretty much going to demand an ultrasound. My "bump" seems a disappear and reappear lol now i'm convinced it's constipation or gas.
