So there's this "BIG" Storm coming where It's supposed to rain like 6 days with like 20 percent chance everyday and people are freaking out!!!!! I mean come people. It doesn't snow here, there's no tornado's, No Hurricanes just 20 percent chance of rain that ALWAYS gets down grade'd to like 10 percent and It rarely rains! To top that off NOONE can drive!!!! Im definitly not one of those people. I LOVE RAIN!!!!!! I shouldn't have been born in this state I tell ya! Im so excited for the "big storm" to come. But I know It wont last It's just funny to watch the new's with everyone freaking out.

hehehehe I remember all the CA imports that moved to CO--wow when it snowed we would all look at the license plates and stay as far away from them as we could while driving!

Enjoy your rain storm--I hope its a downpour for you! *wonders what cute little rain coat/boot/hat outfit amy has for Cambria*

I wonder if part of your storm is what we are getting. I read that California was supposed to get it when/after we do. Ours started this afternoon, expecting 7-11" of snow down here 2+ft in the mountains and up to -22 out. (The high for Monday according to NOAA is 7 )

I totally get why Orange County ppl freak out. Mudslides are no laughing matter. I'd freak out too if my house could, literally, be washed down the side of a hill. Other than those ppl though, it's pretty ridiculous to get upset over the couple inches of rain we'll get, lol. I love the rain too and I'm excited about the storm.

I can't wait for the rain!! I love the idea of spending the whole weekend all bundled up, warm and cozy while it's raining with DH! But knowing CA we probably won't get much rain at all! We never do!

We do that here in the Northwest too.. You'd think they would slow down when they notice the local's are going slow.. But of course not.. I always chuckle when I see them spin out or if they slide of the road.. hehe.. One day a car with CA plates honked and gave us the finger for slowing down on a highway. But they didn't notice that there was a moose crossing the highway.. But they luckily missed the moose and hopefully they learn that if someone slows down all of a sudden, there's usually a reason for it.. Especially if your driving in the country..

We look at the license plate too, Melissa, have you seen the new ones that look fake, that start with K 4------, Dh laughs and says they are the Californian's

When we first moved up here it was a shock to my Mom and Step dad to drive in(we are from Garden Grove, Ca), and a shock for my brother and I to see lol

I noticed the K 4 plates too.. I can always tell that the plates with the larger numbers are the n00bs.. lol I stay far away from them.. hehe... Or I can't stand how some people think just because they have 4 wheel drive means they don't have to worry about ice.. I always laugh when I see some SUV having a hard time getting traction in the snow and my little front wheel drive Honda civic coupe with studded tires is having no troubles at all.. hehe.. I can just imagine what they are thinking when they see me drive by with ease..
