This is our 3rd digital camera this year. Our first one was a 6megapixl Samsung one that we got the day after Seamus was born from my stepgrandma for our welcome baby/wedding gift. Dh accidentally washed it in April of this year(was in my pants and he didn't know or check the pockets for things). Dh's grandpa sent us an old one of his, just a little 3megapixl but it worked, till today. Stupid me left it out, and dh fell asleep down here one morning(I was in bed upstairs) and Seamus must have brought it to dh and dh put it on the side of him on the recliner, and it fell down. We found it today after looking all over the house for it, under the chair. Well it was broke. The front part that you slide open to turn it on and take pictures broke in a few pieces, and the camera was completely busted. So we had to use some of our Christmas money and got a new one. 8megapixl Fuji for $94, which wasnt' bad and we were planning on getting a new one before Kieran came any way, we just didn't plan to get it now. Tomorrow is dh's Christmas party and they are supposed to have Santa there so we wanted one to take pictures of Seamus with.
Fuji J10 is what we got.

No way! They are saying -20or more Sunday and Monday. Highs only upto 19 all week, ick.
Did some melt in CdA? It got up to 37 after it snowed about 1.5" in Post Falls and melted some of it, but they are saying still another 5+inches today.
KHQ (News 6) was saying 10-15" on Saturday for Spokane, Post Falls, CdA, and upto 24" or more in the mountains and Bonners Ferry and Sandpoint. But NOAA and the Weather Channel are saying 6-10" down here

The snow is still here in CDA. It was all slushy/snow last night and today it's all ice.. fun fun fun.. At my parents place in the mountains, they already got 6-7 inches and of course more is on the way.. I decided not to head up there today and hope the roads are good tomorrow.. I heard that it's going to be SUPER cold tomorrow and half way through next week.. I'm not looking forward to that.. Monday I'm heading into Spokane for the Michael W. Smith concert.. I hope the roads are not that bad.
I also just got down shoveling my driveway and boy is it cold outside.. burr.. Here's a picture of the view on the back side of my house.. I must admit, I was freezing when I took this picture.. I need to get use to this cold weather again.. burr...

Ya we were in CdA today, roads are nasty with the slush that Froze. Here in Post Falls too. Itsn't it odd that theres only a 5mile difference in towns and CdA got alittle more snow
Edit:
The way its looking now I will not be able to post pictures. We can't get the Camera to respond to the computer, its not like the others where we plug it in and the box pops up and we click open in folder and xfer the files onto the computer. The software the camera came with isn't working, and we can't get into the pictures anyother way, unless dh spends money which means no deicer for the side walk if he does
I'm pretty ticked right now actually, spending $100.38 after taxes and not being able to get the pictures off. (Our computers are built by my brother(I use his) and dh so they dont have the memory card slot, we have to us the USB port)

Those are great pictures.. It's always fun playing with a new camera.. In a few weeks or so, I'm getting a Canon XSi Digital SLR Camera.. We are looking for the best deal, considering the price of it. But I can't wait, expect it's probably going to take many months for me to learn how to use it.. So many things to learn..

Amazon has a Canon special going on RIGHT NOW!!!! I have the XSi--LOVE IT!
Justine another option is to get a USB card reader-there like $6 and then you just put the SD card in it and plug it into your USB! Thats what we do so we dont' have to carry the cords around.

Dell actually has the best price for just the camera if amazon stops the sale. B)
We just ordered our XSI for $700 and it comes with two lenses.. A Canon EF 75-300mm Lens and a Canon EF-S 18-55mm IS Lens and a 2 GB memory card. The sale ends today though.
