Some good news

Well, just a few little things... I haven't been on due to being busy and the weather was awful on Thursday. My mom was here w/ Abby and the power was out for like 10 hours...luckily my next door neighbor came to hook up the generator to the refrigerator. I'm thankful we didn't get flood damage because there was some bad stuff that happened to some people in other parts of the island.

Anyway, I had been trying to talk to my boss all week...she's been so busy that I couldn't till Friday. She said she got me a sub for 4th quarter, and she will get someone for whatever time I'm out for 3rd quarter (which should be a minimum of 3 weeks). The reason she can't use the same person is that one of my co-workers just went on leave, and her sub is going to cover for both of us. So at least I don't have to do that 'cause last time I had some problems w/ finding a sub and then she cancelled at the last minute so I had to find someone the day before I went on leave! She also told me that she will get someone to help me w/ that online program I have been trying to set up since July, so now all I have to do is keep bugging the teachers in my department to send me the info. that is needed. (I won't even go into how difficult that has been...) I also got an extension for my online course that is supposed to be done by Friday, so now I have till Jan. 13th, I think. It's going to suck having that hanging over my head all break, but I just don't know if I can finish this week. At least I will have some time to myself when Abby is at school and I'm off so maybe just a couple of days of that because I totally need to get things in order for Josh!

So, at least some of my stress is going away...I still wish my tech coordinator would do his job and fix my email, but I've learned not to hold my breath with him. I just need to make it through this week and then I'm off for 3 glorious weeks...bittersweet because I get only 2 next year and I'll have 2 kids by then...plus it's my last break before Josh is here... I know I need to slow down because I get BH like crazy and I had the worst leg cramps this morning.

But I'm surviving! Yay!
