The more pregnant I am, the more attached to my family I get.

Tonight is James' Christmas dinner for his work (Which should be fun!). Curtis is going with Grandma to her house (about an hour away). I don't know why but it worries me that he is "traveling"... he's done this trip many times.. but the more pregnant I am the more weepy, panicky, etc I am!

Hopefully I can calm down and enjoy my night! We are also going to go shopping tomorrow and start/finish all our Christmas shopping Much easier with out a toddler I tell ya! haha.

Anyone else pregnant feel more attached to their loved ones? More worried and concerned etc etc??

Oh my goodness, don't even get me started Nic works literally about 5 minutes away and if I even think he's late in getting home I'm immediately assuming the worst..wondering if he has our house number in his wallet so someone would call me..thinking about what I'd do if something DID happen...basically having a panic attack until he gets home. This never happened before I got pregnant!

(Have fun at your dinner tonight!!)

Yup totally the same with me!! It's so strange! I'm not used to it at all, I'm usually very laid back!

Thanks! I hope it's fun haha. His co workers are a funny bunch lol.

I am and have always been a worrier, but it tripled when I was pregnant! It pretty much took over my life for awhile but thankfully I am starting to clam down a bit!

I find that I feel really protective of this little one and she's not even here yet.

Before I got pregnant, driving 75-80 on the highway with no seatbelt was something I did every single day. Now when I drive I panic if I reach 70. When Nic drives I'm constantly gasping, shrieking, covering my eyes etc etc. He's like WE ARE FINE!! I'm like ITS NOT US I'M WORRIED ABOUT!!!

Caitlyn, I do drive more cautiously now as well. I know that I will be freaking out when this baby starts climbing on things.

Me too. I am a natural worrier, but pregnancy exacerbates everything. I have had students take a while (maybe 15 min.) to come back from the restroom and have called the office saying someone needs to go look for them in case something happened. I worry about my mom & brother a lot, but not so much about Abby and Brant (like not more than normal). However there are days that I'm convinced something is wrong with Joshua because I haven't been the most healthy eater and have forgotten to take vitamins and stuff like that. We'll see how things go when he is actually here...I was so worried when Abby came because I felt like I was going to drop her or something and she cried a lot and didn't sleep well. Then when she got a little older I thought she was autistic. I am a big time freaker outer.

OMG I'm such a worrier. When DH goes somewhere he will text me when he gets where he's going and when he leaves. He know I worry and he is sweet about it. Also- the roads here are so icy and snowy so that makes it worse!

And I drive so slow and am always worried something will happen. When DH and I are in the car together- I'm always keeping my hand on the door brace thingy on our jeep like I'm bracing for an accident!! It sucks how nervous I am all the time.

I can only imagine how nervous I'll be when the baby is actually here!!!

I've become MUCH more appreciate of simple things in life... like DH & I are healthy, our pregnancy has been plain sailing, thankful I have both parents still (despite mum's illness). It has made me take sooooo much less for granted. Even miniscule things like I can walk up my stairs, things which poorly or disabled people can't do.

I do worry more and I am a lot more anal about Dh having his cell phone WITH HIM and CHARGED at all times! He still leaves at home or forgets to charge it by accident and it drives me nuts. I told him when I get further along I am going to staple it to his hand if I have to.
