Where should DH and I vacation at in 2009? I can pick 3 of the europe spots and 1 of the tropics spots, and then we'll decide from there. This is a second honeymoon for us, so we're not too concerned about money, just want to go somewhere amazing and I can't choose, lol.
I've only been to spain and the virgin islands of these choices but would love to go to any of them

I'm going to obviously be biased toward the choice with Barbados 
And for the Europe section - Ireland, Scotland, Paris

Aww go to Barbados so you and Mari can meet up!
I've been to Germany and I LOVED it. It's beautiful in the mountains and the food is darn good anywhere! And I enjoyed shopping in Berlin too. I'm pretty sure I was drunk WHILE I was shopping lol

The Greek Islands are the most beautiful, Santorinni, Mykonos are my faves Athens is a must for all the history
I love the Virgin Islands too... we were married on St. Thomas, and St. John, USVI's Trunk Bay is the most beautiful waters
Paris, France is beautiful! Another fave spot I've seen

My picks: Ireland, Scotland, Germany and Fiji.
I'd say Virgin Islands but wanted to pick somewhere you hadn't been. We honeymooned on St. John and it had awesome snorkeling. 
I would have liked to go to Tahihi or Fiji but it was a lot more $$$.

I can't say anything about the tropical place because I've never been.
In Europe, my favourite place is Berlin so I'd say Germany. I had lots of fun there and thought it was a beautiful country. I also loved England, but it can be rainy. And of course Paris is beautiful and romantic. I've been 3X and would definitely go again. (I also voted for Spain simply because I fell in love with Barcelona last September, but if you've already been I'd go somewhere else).

Why dont you take a cruise to Alaska!!!! DH and I went on our honeymoon and seriously It was THE BEST!!!!! Totally recommended to do at least ince in your life! But my vote was Greece, England, Scotland, and Jamacia. We went there ( Jamaicia ) 2 years ago and I Loved It! DH not so much. He hates enything Tropical..

Amy, we talked about a cruise, but we don't have too much vacation time right now and would rather use it to the max and not waste days onboard ship. We're planning on doing one in another year or so

lol Angela, if we don't go to Germany this coming year, we will in 2010 to see DH's brothers family for sure Why don't you come down to Italy and visit me??? hehehe, I think that would be a great way to kill time during deployment!

Ireland and Scotland, for sure. Scotland was my most fave spot of the England/Ireland/Scotland trip I took...plus my family and DH's family have scottish roots so I was a bit partial to it from the get go.
For tropics - I don't see Aruba on your list. DH and I have a time share there and go every year....its fabulous...its motto is One Happy Island....I haven't been to any other tropical place but Hawaii but my parents have and its their fave spot too - they won't go anywhere else now - they go to Aruba twice a year!
ETA: So I picked Bonaire - its right next to Aruba - one of the ABC islands - with Curacao

You know I was thinking bout it! Isn't their like an airline thats 20euro to fly with in Europe?? Its like Red bird or something with red in it I will have to look it up!

ryanair is cheap, so is easyjet. both fly into naples!
