And a pic of me with the booties I got to go in baby's stocking. I love playing with them and thinking about the little feet that will fill them in a few months.



And as an aside, I cannot WAIT to get a new camera for Christmas. I am so sick of this stupid Canon A80 and the dumb flash that makes me blink at the wrong time, almost every freaking time. It makes me look like I have a lazy eye or I'm on drugs or something.

I didn't want to start a whole new thread, but I thought I'd update with how my 21 week appt went.

My mom went with me, which was great because we had to wait b/c my dr was delivering a baby. She got to hear the baby's heartbeat and meet my dr.

I gained another 5 lb. So I am up 11 lb total! Yeah!

My Dr thinks it's great I'm having a boy, she said we need some excitement in our lives since my Dh is so mellow. Hopefully she didn't think I wasn't happy about a boy, b/c I did mention we only had a girl name picked out (no reason, we just agreed on one) and my mom said she had been pulling for a girl, only because my dad was pulling for a boy.

I asked about childbirth prep classes and she said we could do them, but they weren't necessary. She also mentioned only 1/10 of her patients do natural childbirth. 6/10 get an epidural and a few others get IV pain meds. I dunno, I don't know what I'm going to do. I'd like to try natural.

Oh! I have my diabetes screening test at my next appt! I couldn't believe it when the nurse came in with the glucola. I can't believe it is already time for that. Wow!
