I left work today at Noon. I felt dizzy and it got worse when standing up to walk or moving my head. I made an appt with my family doctor but cancelled it when I got home. I didn't feel like going out in 2 F weather. My throat feels like it's getting scratchy too. What do you think I'm getting? I NEVER get sick. It's been almost 3 years since the last time.

I'm not a nurse... but I just wanted to add my 2 cents... I get scratchy throats in the winter, right now I have one... but they just go away. I haven't been sick yet this year. I drink more water when my throat gets scratchy.

Dizzyiness... hmmmm did you eat enough today? i know with BF, reading a book now, that you have to eat more calories than when you are pregnant! Thats alot And alot of water!!!

Hope you feel better soon!

Sounds like you may have an ear infection annd/or cold coming on

With the dizziness and head issues, I'd guess sinus or ear infection. Try some general OTC sinus/cold med and see what it does. Hope you feel better soon!

Before you take any over the counter medications, please talk to a Pharmacist.. They can let you know what's safe for breast feeding mothers.. After all, Pharmacists are the experts when it comes to medications..

I agree with nikki, sounds like an inner ear thing caused by sinus pressure. Sudafed should help. Typically just a common cold thing you have to suffer through.

I'm feeling better. Yesterday I had a bad headache and sore throat. I just took some Aleve. I don't like taking any meds for colds etc. Makes me feel funny.

Must be something in the air cause I just came down with a sore throat and a stuffy nose. I haven't been sick since way before I got preggo.
