We had storms last night which knocked out power to the entire island. It wasn't as bad as the earthquake in '06, though. We lost power around 6:45 or 7:00 and it came back on at 3:15. Unfortunately, they are predicting more bad weather for tonight, so I'm hoping that we will be okay. I can't really complain, though, 'cause my dentist's office just called to confirm our appointments for Monday & the receptionist said that there are some places still w/ no electricity. That's the only thing about living on an island...no other power grids nearby that we can hook up with to restore our power when everything goes out. So if I'm not around for a few days, that will probably be why.
