I want to talk about nurseries! I've posted something before. They've become my new obsession

All you pregnant ladies, have you finished or started on the nursery? Have you picked a theme or will you not?

I have off this week from work and I'm determined to clean out the spare room and start planning!

Decorating the nursery sure is fun!

I didn't really have a theme but I knew I wanted something that was unisex so I browsed around until I found something I liked. I ended up with an organic, unisex set from buybuybaby.com and I guess its somewhat of an animal/jungle theme since it has elephants and giraffes on it. : smile: I've added a few gender-specific accents but not too many since I'm still not 100% sure of the sex. I'll add more or change them once the baby comes.

I have our bedding set and I know which crib I want, but we won't really get serious about setting up the nursery until Violet is a few months old. We co-slept with Lily for the first eight weeks and plan to do the same with Vivi.

We're reusing Taylor's bedding. We went with unisex that way it could be used over and over. I have 2 girls though so I guess it didn't matter much did it LoL!! (unless we have more kids later on and we have a boy). Have fun!!

I haven't started!! Haha. I will be working on that this month

Right now I'm going with cream sheets and no bed set. I hope to buy a bed set after baby is here! I have them picked out, depending on gender. I have blankets from when Curtis was born. Just simple simple

The crib is going to be in our room. Afterwards I'll get wall decals that go with the bed set I get but that's the only decorating I will do. I have a built in vanity that I need to transform into a diaper station. It's the PERFECT height and width Works wonderfully.

We stayed very gender neutral seeing as we don't know if we have a boy of a girl. I didn't pick a theme, I had a winnie the pooh border and worked from there, but it's very much a "lemon" room.

Does Oliver have a themed room?

Have you already bought the furniture? If so, which pieces did you choose?

We bought an organic bunny bed set. It's gender neutral with bunnies. The furniture is in espresso. Here is a pictures of the bed set up.

I've got my bedding set, it is gender neutral with bunnies (different from the one Resi has). I thought I posted pics awhile back but I'm not sure.

I'm debating right now about furniture. I may post some pics here soon and have you ladies help me figure out what color wood I should get.

I'll be doing a nursey with this one once I know what we're having. We're redoing both Harrison's room (currently the guest room) and his current room (future nursey). We didn't really have space in our condo when Harrison was born so we pretty much had a crib (with attached dresser) and a changing table - we had doggie themed bedding and will probably use it again with number 2 and go into more accessories and stuff with number 2.

Harrison's room is going to be sports themed and we have goodwill coming to pick up the guest room furniture tomorrow!

BTW - my parents gave us $5,000 for Christmas to help with doing the rooms so we are really going all out!

Good luck with your nursey planning and set up....it really is a fun thing!
