I had an OB appointment today. He couldn't give me a date for my c-sec. then but just called to say March 18th. Brant really wanted it to be the 20th since there are several other family members w/ birthdays on the 20th of other months, but he'll get over it. In a way I'm glad because it means less days of work for me, I think. I need to talk to our school secretary so we can figure out my maternity leave and Brant's family leave. Hopefully I will still be able to take a week of personal leave plus two weeks before the section.

It's getting very close for you. Are you a little scared about the c/s?

I'm not really scared. I'm having a tubal ligation done as well. I think I'm a little more worried about the recovery, but I'm also relieved not to have another vaginal delivery. My last one was a nightmare which I am still dealing with to this day. I will need surgery a few years down the road because of it.

Sometimes I think it's so neat to know the exact date the baby will arrive but personally I not fond of the section. I hope all goes well.
