I am very limited to what hpt's I can get over here in Germany (no FRERs). I took a Clearblue +/- test last night before the new years eve celebration. I watched it about 30 sec, didn't see anything and just shoved it in the cabinet. Looked at it this am and there was a faint positive line. Didn't think too much about it because I know with these tests it is important to read them in the correct time frame. AF is due tomorrow or Sat, and still no signs she is coming. Cervix is high and closed. I took another CB test tonight and watched it this time. A very faint positive came up at about 3 minutes. I had saved my urine in a cup, and so I dipped in my last FRER. *Maybe* a line, but honestly I think its a bfn.
You think it's a false positive on both the CB tests? I wouldn't know why I wouldn't see a line of the FRER. Here's a picture of tonight's test taken at about 6 minutes. You probably can't see anything... and think I should be put into the looney bin, lol. On the pic it looks like the line is more prominent on the top half of the test, but IRL the line is the same all the way down.

I agree, i can see the line more prominent on the top 1/2 of the test than the bottom. But I honestly have NO experience with those blue dye tests, sorry! I hope its a BFP for you!!!!!!!!!!

My camera isn't great, it's a bit more obvious in person. Not obvious enough to show DH though- he wouldn't believe any line that has to be squinted at to see, lol. I would be much more excited if I didn't know that these test have probs with false positives. Going to wait until Sunday and test again if AF is a no-show. Still don't think I am preggo. No signs whatsoever.

I can't see it, but I never can on those blue tests. I agree with Fiona and temp in the am and retest. And if this isn't the month for you, maybe order some other tests online. But I HOPE tomorrows temp is up, and no AF and a BFP!!!! Jessie

Thanks everyone. I'm nervous and excited. Mainly nervous about being disappointed. I don't think it is an evap (well, the test yesterday may have been) because it came up within a few minutes before the test had time to dry and it's a tad darker than the one from yesterday. I'm just going to do my best to chill out. I figure by Sunday I should have a more definite answer- be it AF or a BFP. I think Resi got her BFP on 16dpo.
If it comes down to it, I will use your suggestion Jen and order from ebay. I checked german ebay and it doesn't have any of the tests that I'm familiar with. I would have to order from uk ebay and have them sent internationally.

My blue tests were the first thing to show, my FRER wasn't the strongest lines. I like the blue tests personally! I think you may have a BFP there girl!! Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

I saw the line right away. I think there is a lot of hope! I'm going to hold off to congratulate you until we know for sure. I'm super excited for you. Yes, I got mine at 16 DPO. BUT, I didn't test for several days before that. I think I would have gotten a faint line before 16 DPO.

I actually had good experiences with the blue dye tests. I took one of those with Aden, I think it was the PX brand but same thing as the clearblue +/- and I never had a false positive with it. I think I took one with Phin too but I took a digi right afterward and that was positive too.
jeez sorry that pic is so huge!
